window media player cannot read MP3 format daretofail <guest[ at ]unknown-email.com> 10/7/2008 1:10:46 PM Whenever I use total video convert to convert a WMA to MP3 format,window media player cannot read it and show an error that ' codec 50 mpeg-1 is missing' although my CD player can still read it(when I copied file to USB and plugged it to the CD player).Anyone also suffered from similar problems ? -- daretofail

Hi, A quick google indicates an incompatibility between some third party converters and wmp11 on Vista.
