How do I get rid of Windows Messenger (completely) I don't want it to load and keep reminding me that I am "not signed in" (or constantly trying to act as a server etc.) TIA for any help.

If you can't uninstall it just remove it from the startup menu or the run key in the registry. Sunny: A quite simple way of ridding Windows Messenger from your system is 1. Close Messenger if it's running. 2. Click Start | Run and paste the following line into the Run field: RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove 3. Click OK and reboot. And that's it. Anna
