Movie flickers or pulsates Eddie 11/1/2008 2:58:01 AM When in Media Center and playing a movie that is stored on the drive or playing a movie from the DVD drive the movie flickers/pulsates. Now if I move the mouse to see the DVD controls on the screen the problem stops, and when the DVD controls disappear the problem starts again. I have a new ATI All-in-Wonder HD, and updated the drivers. This is a new clean install of Windows Vista Pre-Home. I've tried different codec packs (ffdshow, vista codec pack) and nothing worked. I have all the latest drivers. My system is... Vista Ultimate SP1 Radeon HD 4850 Core 2 Quad 4 GB RAM ... I mean, I can edit high-def video and play it back with extreme ease. But when I play movies in mediacentre, the screen flickers.
