Hi
We have a Multiple server topology 2 of these servers have stopped replicating data both at different times. DFS Replication logs shows the following errors and are repeated around every 20 mins.
Event Type: Information Event Source: DFSR Event Category: None Event ID: 2106 Date: 22/12/2008 Time: 18:47:37 User: N/A Computer: COMP1 Description: The DFS Replication service successfully recovered from an internal database error on volume F:. Replication has resumed on replicated folders on this volume. Additional Information: Volume: C70798B2-7121-432C-94A1-E14CAD7BFF90 Database: F:\System Volume Information\DFSR

This failure can occur because the disk is full, the disk is failing, or a quota limit has been reached. This can also occur if the DFS Replication service encountered errors while attempting to stage files for a replicated folder on this volume. The minute before the first error I noticed these 2 information events in the application logs.

The next time online defragmentation is started on this database, it will resume from the point of i

I have tried the following 2 methods to resolve the issue
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957555
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943661/en-us
But neither resolves the problem. I am thinking that database is corrupt, and next wonder about stopping all services and renaming the sys vol info\dfrs folder to see if the database will be recreated. What I don’t know is whether this will spark a replication of all files in the dfsr shares.
Comments and idea’s would be much appreciated as I am running out of Idea’s
