Hi,
I can build OS images to use EWF Loader and DISK overlays on my hardware but
I have not been able to build with the EWF component using the NT Loader. I
need to be able to use the NT Loader as the EWF Loader causes an issue with
one of our devices.
I have read that EWF RAM-REG can use the NT Loader so...I take a known good
and working .SLX (and resultant image) and make these modifications:
1) remove the EWF Loader
2) Add the NT Loader
3) configure EWF to use a RAM-REG overlay
At that point I cannot use the Targert Designer to check dependencies as it
will remove the NT Loader. So I just take this modified config and build it
w/o any other changes. The resultant image always tells me the HAL is
corrupted.
My questions are:
(1) Has anyone out there built images with EWF and the NT Loader? Any hints
on how to properly configure this?
(2) Is there a way to make the Target Designer work after EWF and NT Loader
are selected?
I am pretty sure I've looked over every relevant DOC in the MSDN on this.
