Slow to open text file while LAN connected otcmx 12/23/2008 4:52:01 AM If I have LAN cable connected, the PC takes like 2 minutes to open a text file or word document. But as soon as I remove the LAN cable, the text file or word opens almost instantly. Does anyone know why and how can I fix this problem? Help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks I forgot to mention, regardless whether the LAN is working or not. As soon as I connect the LAN cable the problem starts. And it's not limited to only Word document but any of the Microsoft Office including excel, powerpoint etc.
