I get multiple BSODs when i start the system. The most common ones are
page_fault_in_non_paged_area, irql_not_les_or_equal, bsod regarding some
klif.sys file
Lately i got a "fatal system error" BSOD and a "Memory_management" one.
I found an article related to the last error on the microsoft help
center but the security update which they recommended was for SP2 and i
already have SP3, so that update dint work.
I recently got my motherboard repaired, c: formatted and xp reinstalled
and a new stick of RAM.
Any help would be greatly appreciated since i'm tired of googling all
these errors and not getting any resolution.
P.S. after 3 or 4 BSODs, the system boots up fine

Do you or have you had Kaspersky or Zone Alarm Security software?
You need to post complete copies of the Stop Error reports!
You need to post a more complete and accurate copy of the Stop Error report.
Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Keep pressing the F8 key during Start-Up and select option - Disable automatic restart on system failure. Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure. Check for variants of the Stop Error message.
Do the errors occur if you boot to safe mode?

Hope this helps.

Well i'm not very good with hardware so cant tell u in detail but i
think one of the problems was bulging capacitors, the system was not
starting up so had to give it for repair.
I located the klif.sys file and have put it in the recycle bin for now.
Dint get any bsod today on startup and was able to boot into safe mode
easily as well. However, booting up normally, explorer dint start
properly, had to restart it from the task manager, and zone alarm dint
load automatically either.

well booted again, this is what happened:
1. On booting the first time, the system restarted
2. The second time i got the following bsod:
-A process or thread critical to system operation has unexpectedly
exited or been terminated
STOP:0x000000F4 (0x00000003,0x83012DA0,0x83012F14,0x800FB046)
Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete-
3. Then i booted into safe mode without any issues
4. Restarted, reached the desktop but explorer wouldn't load
5. Went back to safe mode and restored the klif.sys file
6. Restarted and got a normal bootup

What version of Zone Alarm is installed? Are totally reliant on Zone Alarm for security?

Hope this helps.

You need to eliminate this as a possibilty: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330100
The Stop Error report for this error is less helpful than most: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms797140.aspx
You may get an answer by running the Windows Debugger on the memory dump but it is a challenging task for a typical user: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/debugging/default.mspx
Another way to investigate your hard drive is to use HD Tune.
Try HD Tune only gives information and does not fix any problems.
Download and run it and see what it turns up. You want HD Tune (freeware) version 2.55 not HD Tune Pro (not Freeware) version 3.00. http://www.hdtune.com/
Select the Info tabs and place the cursor on the drive under Drive letter and then double click the two page icon ( copy to Clipboard ) and copy into a further message.
Select the Health tab and then double click the two page icon ( copy to Clipboard ) and copy into a further message. Make sure you do a full surface scan with HD Tune.

Zone Alarm 7.0.483 is a standalone firewall. What anti-virus and anti-spyware products are you using?

This is not a subject upon which I am knowledgeable but I think you need to ask more questions about your hard disk:
Supported mode : UDMA Mode 5 (Ultra ATA/100) Current mode : UDMA Mode 2 (Ultra ATA/33) http://www.wdc.com/en/products/Products.asp?DriveID=8
