Windows Installer package not valid for a msi file Didou 10/13/2008 4:25:01 PM Hello from France I downloaded Free SQL Server 2008 on a XP sp3 PC and I would like to add databases examples (msi file) but when I want to install them, a pop up appears to say that the Windows Installer package is not valid. I don't know which version of Installer I have (how to do ?) but I would be very pleased to get some help Didou

To find out which version of Installer you have on your PC, Click on START | RUN, type MSIEXEC and press ENTER. You should get a display showing what version of MSI you have on your system.
