How is that possible? Multimedia is not on my control panel and volume control is not a program. "Don Phillipson" <e925[ at ]SPAMBLOCK.ncf.ca> wrote in message news:OgcU9QbPJHA.3936[ at ]TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl...

If your control panel is in classic view, pick "sounds and audio devices", then check show volume control. If your control panel is in category view, pick "sounds, speech, and audio devices", then "sounds and audio devices", then check the show volume control. You are correct -- Volume Control is not a program. That's why you won't find it on "add and remove programs"

Now back to the original question:
How do you add the Volume Control on Add or Remove Programs, please? When I click on "Place volume control in the task bar" I get the message, "The Volume Contol program has not been installed. To install it, use Add/Remove programs in Contol Panel." But I cannot find Volume anything in the Add/Remove programs lists. Where am I to find "Volume Control" in order to add it?
Please help.
