Can't open files by double click Phil vK 11/23/2008 8:48:00 PM I came across and used a utility that was called something like "Windows Installer Clean-up". I guess i shouldn't have because now I can no longer open files by double clicking them in Windows Explorer. If I try to assign a program to a file type I get the message that "This action is only valid for programs that are currently installed". The programs ARE there. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
