Can't open files by double click
Phil vK 11/23/2008 8:48:00 PM
I came across and used a utility that was called something like "Windows
Installer Clean-up". I guess i shouldn't have because now I can no longer
open files by double clicking them in Windows Explorer. If I try to assign a
program to a file type I get the message that "This action is only valid for
programs that are currently installed". The programs ARE there. Any help is
appreciated, thanks!

If you used the windows installer clean up utility to remove Office
installer files you need to repair your office installation with the Office
cd
Why did you use the utility?
