From what I've read, it sounds as if the free program will focus on security issues and not contain any of the maintenance features that are currently available in its online scanner. I haven't checked but it wouldn't surprise me if both stocks have rebounded in the last week. I think you'll find that both stocks will react to news about cutbacks in corporate technology spending and layoffs rather than any moves that Microsoft may be making. Nepatsfan
