Because the music data is already compressed, you might only get another 10% compression. 45GB x 1/10 is about 5GB saving So you're trying to fit a single file of 40GB onto a 4GB DVD disk. You might be better grabbing a 250GB external hard disk, which has other uses than backup + restore, i.e. you can leave your content on there and/or move it about between PCs as desired.
