This is more of a comment than a technical support request, though if someone would like to contribute, I'll use the info. At the moment, Windows is reporting that I have no sound devices installed, yet...even during this message, I hear the old clicks from the speakers as programs start and stop...and when I try to start Sound Recorder, the error message that appears "a sound device is not installed"--much to my amusement--appears with the error sound I have assigned to (red X) type errors. I'll try restarting and refreshing the drivers, but I thought it was worth mentioning so that people could take a break from answering questions and perhaps chuckle for a minute.
