I have encountered several problems with my XP system recently and would like
to restore it. How would I do this?

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.
Pick a date before the problems.
If using Norton, etc, disable before using SR.

What are the problems? System Restore may or may not be an effective thing
to do.

Bob, try this to restore your system. Display the Accessories submenu of the
Start button's All Programs option. On that menu, pick the System Tools item
and choose System Restore. This will start the System Restore wizard. There
will be a welcome screen in which you can restore to a previous state or set
a restore point of your choice. When you decide which will work best for you,
then use the Next command button to move to the next screen. Next depending
on which restore point you chose, you will either be asked to enter a
description for it or you will see a screen that looks like a calender in
which you will need to choose a date to which you would like your computer
restored to. Try these and follow the on screen directives and see if they
provide the help you need.
