Remote Desktop Issue
Maurice 12/23/2008 1:46:01 AM
Have a vista desktop and two laptops on the same subnet. Laptop A can RDP to
the vista machine but not Laptop B. Laptop B can be pinged from Laptop A.
Laptop B has allowed remote desktop accessibility, has firewall configured
for remote desktop as well. It is my understanding that no additional ports
need be opened. How can one troubleshoot this?

Can you telnet port 3389 from A to B?

Much thanks for your timely reply. The response was as follows: Connecting
To 3389...Could not open port connection to the host, on port 23: connect
failed. Continued guidance sought.
