Frustrated
MICHAE WOLFGANG <guest[ at ]unknown-email.com> 12/15/2008 8:20:12 PM
Despite saving video projects during production, when I reopen the project for fine-tuning, most if not all of the imported images have disappeared. I believe in redundancy so I usually back up my projects on an external drive and/or on a DVD. I just spent three days on a project, only to find every imported image is missing. Any idea why this happens and if so, the fix? I own Vegas, but it doesn't work on the VISTA OS. H-E-L-P! Michael Wolfgang Chicago -- MICHAE WOLFGANG

The .mswmm file is only the project file...
it does not include the source files...video
clips, pictures, music, etc...

If any of the source files have been moved
or deleted the .mswmm file will not find them
and you will see Red Xs.

If the source files are still available...right
click the Red Xs and browse to the current
location.
