System shuts down during transcoding/encoding "Paul" <paul[ at ]smiffys-place.fsnet.co.uk> 12/7/2008 9:45:32 AM When converting an avi to DVD in various apps, including Nero 8 and Adobe Premiere Elements 7, it gets part way through then the system will shut down. Check ALL your fans and clean out any crud in the heatsinks. If that doesn't do it, try a new, bigger PSU.
