Rebroadcast previously broadcasted files
TheTalentFarm 11/12/2008 3:59:00 PM
Hi,

Why is it that when we broadcast a live show, I cant just add that video to
my sources panel? When I do, I get this big rex "X" instead of the video.
However, if I take that same video, open it in Windows Movie Maker, then save
the file, it works perfectly?

I don't mind really, because I usually need to add titles, and do a little
cleanup editing anyway, but it sure would be nice if I could just "re-run"
the show after it was over.

Any suggestions?

It may be incompatible with the profile you have selected. Try using your
same live broadcast profile and then just changing the source from video to
file.

Exactly... That's what I'm doing! I broadcast a file, save it as last
session, take that very same file and switch from LIVE to the file. All I
get is this big red X on the encoder screen and the previously recorded file
does not stream.
