Sheesh- on my backup computer, which I only turn on about once per month- when I turned it on a few days ago, OneCare complained it couldn't do an update- then it gave several options such as rebooting- if that doesn't work, it listed a number of options including manually downloading some update file which I did- that wouldn't install properly. So, now I'm left with uninstalling the entire program and reinstalling. I am very upset about this as I know it will take quite awhile and I have better things to do.
Among other issues, once I uninstall and reinstall the entire program, then I need to go back to MS to make sure it's properly registered. I have 2 computers running OneCare- the others seem OK. But, informing MS that this computer is just reinstalling a previously registered OneCare is something I'm not excited about. Are other people have a similar problem or is this just a glitch on my computer?
