It seems to me that this is a known problem, but MS doesn't seem willing to fix it or offer a solution that will fix it. I've tried all of their suggestions, but none of them work, and one suggestion is too technical for me. If I find a fix I'll post it here. Good luck. RE: windows Live Messenger : 8100030d Charles G 12/30/2008 1:24:01 AM I found out that I had the MSN protection on in my AVG anti-virus software, thoujght it seems to happen with just the paid version. Just open the main AVG interface, open the Web Shield component, click the instant messaging tab, make sure the MSN protection is NOT checked. Save the changes.
