Windows XP SP3+ Can't get the system to recognize PS2 Mouse? When I was originally called on the House Call, the complaint was that the wireless mouse wouldn't work. She was right. We tried a PS2 mouse. No luck. I now have it at home and I was successful installing the miniature USB mouse that I use with my laptop when travelling. Any help will be appreciated...

Install the latest motherboard chipset drivers... Ensure the PS/2 ports are not disabled in the BIOS somehow...
