Watching Live TV between Media Center PCs
"Lance Wynn" <Lance_Wynn[ at ]community.nospam> 12/30/2008 5:01:42 AM
Hi all,
I have 2 Vista Ultimate machines, and an Xbox 360 and I have been tinkering
with Media Center. I have a cheap little usb hd antenna connected to
machine "a" and I setup the Xbox extender to look at "a" and I can get the
guide, watch live TV, etc from the Xbox. Now I want to do the same thing
from the second machine "b", but I cannot figure out if it can be done, or
how. Is it possible to have one MCE act as an extender for the live tv
signal from the second machine? If ss, can someone point me to a tutorial,
or some docs?

Thanks
Lance

The Xbox can only act as an extender for one computer at a time.

If you want to switch, you will have to break the connection between machine
a, and create a new connection with b.

A PC cannot act as an extender, take a look at webguide.
