Hibranate gone from options (Laptop) - help Tim_Ver 12/20/2008 4:31:01 AM I have Windows XP SP3 and when I goto the power options under advanced and the when I close lid I only get one option - "Do Nothing" I am missing Hibranate which I want it to do but now it just stays on. Arghhhh. How do I fix this is there a file I am missing that I can D/L or a setting somewhere in the registry I need to adjust? Thanks

Which is wrong because it worked flawless before I had to format and reinstall xp on it two months ago. So how do I get it back on XP so it works? You should be able to download the correct drivers for your laptop from the manufacturer's web site. You may find that you also need to install the driver for your motherboard's chipset. A program like Belarc Advisor will provide the motherboard info. Once again, check with the manufacturer for the correct drivers.
