Do make sure you have all the drivers for your hardware and software available. The software will require that you get 64-bit versions. Check to see that any programs you really need and don't want to replace will run on 64-bit. Most will, but there are exceptions. Since you have both versions, you can always reinstall the 32-bit version if you find that you have real problems, but properly planned you will find the 64-bit version very stable.
