Uninstall all Live apps in Add-Remove (not all will uninstall); 3. Remove all other Live apps with the Windows Install Cleanup program; 4. Run a check on your registry to remove the stuff left over, or run ZapMessenger; 5. Reboot; 6. Run the custom setup program as in step 1, full install successful. Thanks all but what a pain! What I meant was that it was a shame that there wasn't a link in the program itself where one could either report a bug/problem, or check to see if the problem being experienced had already been discovered (if not also the fix/workaround). It's one of those things that differentiate real Beta testing from 'free software'.
