Disabling Keyboard Keys
"Nathan Sokalski" <njsokalski[ at ]hotmail.com> 12/23/2008 8:23:45 PM
I recently purchased a special children's keyboard that does not have many
of the special keys such as the function keys, Windows key, Context Menu
key, etc. However, it does still have the Ctrl and Alt keys. I would like to
disable the Alt key to avoid accidental use of the MenuBar. Is there any way
to do this in Windows XP Professional without purchasing any extra security
or child protection software? Thanks.

You could use remapkey.exe to turn each unwanted key into a Shift key.
