Windows Settinga Changed...
Chocolitz58 12/27/2008 1:18:09 AM
After I downloaded EyesDropper, windows settings were changed. It asked me to
restart, but I was too shocked to.

- When I start up the computer, instead of a blue screen with a list of the
accounts with their icons, I have to type the username of the account I want
to access.

- When I press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, instead of all the features in a convienient
Task Manager, some options in Task Manager (such as shut down) are now in a
box that appears on the desk top when I type the command.

- When I open the start menu, my icon is not there anymore next to the
account's username, and at the bottom instead of a Turn Off Computer button,
I have a Shut Down button.

- When I press Log Off, instead of two options, Stand By and Log off with
two icon buttons above the respective options, Windows asks me, "Are you sure
you want to log off?" and there are two options - Log Off or Cancel.

- When I press Shut Down, instead of three icon buttons with "Restart,"
"Turn Off," and "Stand By," all three options are in a drop down menu.

What's going on? I immediately uninstalled EyesDropper after this, and it
asked me to restart again, but I was too scared to. This occured a few days
ago.

Now what do I do? How do I revert to the Windows settings that were on my
computer before this incident?

I use Windows XP SP3.
