Purge Former User Folder(s) Zakhary 12/29/2008 8:45:01 AM I had to reinstall XP. However, many of those original default user folders are still there (C:\Documents and Settings\username...) and I want to use them instead of the new ones that have been created. As the answerer to thsi inquiry will know, when Windows creates a folder for a new user who has the same username as a former user, it makes a fodler in the former (username.computer name). This problem has come up for both general users and administrators. I want the new folders removed and the old ones put back. How do I proceed. If I need to use RegEdit or another advanced method, I am prepares to do so! -- -Zakhary
