If your hardware is top notch Vista is Ok. It offers a lot more built in security features than XP and has native DVD burning capabilities. Minimum 128MBs graphics to run Aero(which is just glam anyway) And realistically 2 Gig of RAM to operate. And that is not a flash setup! I have both, but I still do my work in XP Pro. Windows 7 is coming out in 2010, to replace Vista. Hmmm, I read somewhere that the primary purpose for Vista was to require and bump up sales for new rounds of hardware. I think I'll wait until an OS comes out that requires purchase of a Starship to run it on. I already have 3 or 4 spare Starships in my back yard and will put the Whipsaw - Katzenjammer - Kitchensinker - Hotnew - Operating System on them when it comes out.
