WMP wants to close after device connection Limitless 10/19/2008 8:24:00 PM I am using Windows XP media edition 2005.I have an Archos 705 WiFi PMP(Portable Media Player).It can be switched from PC Hard Drive mode to Windows Media Device mode. When I connect the PMP to the computer(with WMP 11 running),a window is displayed saying Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. I checked to see if there was a problem with the USB ports in the device manager,but they all work fine. Is there a setting in WMP that I have to change or is it something else?
