No sound on Xp after downgrading from Vista bizwani43[ at ]msn.com 12/23/2008 10:46:19 PM I got so sick of Vista, I installed Xp on my computer. However, no matter what I do my computer will not recognize any sound device. I did download the correct chipset from Intel for the sound info but it still will not recognize any sound device. Device mgr says it is working properly. And It is not on mute. That is the first thing i checked. Thanks.
