Firewall can not access HTTP "Thomas R Grassi Jr" <thomasgrassi[ at ]hotmail.com> 12/4/2008 3:40:00 AM On my Windows 2003 R2 Standard server runs as my only DC. Have DSL router connected to LINKSYS broadband router. All pcs and server plug into either LINKSYS Router or a LINKSYS switch. I have 3 pc;s I have one NAS I have 1 Server Currently all machines can access all web functions HTTP HTTPS, IM EMAIL (OUTLOOK) I can ping www.yahoo.com no problem from any pc I need to turn on Windows firewall on my server windows 2003 When I do my workstations can no longer access HTTP they can access the local web site on windows 2003 server I use SHAREPOINT 2.0 What setting am i missing ? Here are some of the settings in the firewall When I go into the firewall settings advanced>Local area connection>settings>services internet mail server (SMTP) Secure Web (HTTPS) Web Server (HTTP) only these three are checked ICMP allow incoming echo request is only one checked Any ideas Thanks Tom
