Need Help w/ "Add to Library"
eblankenship 12/20/2008 1:31:02 AM
for some reason this has never been a problem - i've removed media plyer 11
and reinstalled it and the problem still exists - i have an external hard
drive w/ all of my music yet when i go to the "add to library" feature and
add the external hard drive and say "ok" and then "ok" again, nothing happens
- then i open up the "add to library" feature and it shows that i havent
added the hard drive again - i have no idea what is going on? help please

One possible reason for this could be your media library database is
corrupt. ZachD has instructions for finding and resetting that :
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary

You should be able to find the "CurrentDatabase_360.wmdb" file and
rename it, then restart media player. Press F3 to rebuild the library
first, then try adding your new hard disk with the steps you tried
previously.
