Vista Business - Print Spooler will not stay up mike.wood[ at ]mpwonline.com 12/15/2008 4:04:20 PM I upgraded from XP to Vista last week. Since then I can not print any large documents. It will print a few pages and then stop. When I go to printers I have no printers. I normally have two local and 6 network printers showing. When I check the print spooler it is not running. I changed the restart parameters to always restart, but there are times when it takes a while before restarting. If I click in the printers window the print spooler cancels and restarts. If I display the properties on a printer the spooler restarts. Any ideas?

Most likely some print software is corrupting the memory used by the print spooler and forcing the process to terminate.
