Please help me, I am trying to install a game that I have recently
bought. I used to have the game a few years ago, but lost the disc, so I
have bought it again.
As soon as I click "Install", the message pops up, "setup.exe has
stopped working", then it says. " A problem caused the program to stop
working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify if a
solution is available."
Has anybody experienced this problem before? Or does anybody know how
to fix it?
Thanks, Ben

Contact the game's tech support or look for game user forums. Without knowing what game, it's impossible to be more specific. Offhand, I'd guess that the game wasn't designed for Vista. If there are patches/workarounds, the game mftr.'s tech support people are the go-to guys.

The Game is Command & Conquer: The First Decade. I used to have it on
Vista and used to play so it is nothing to do with that, but thanks
anyway. Ok thanks. I will ring them tomorow, or go back to Game and ask
them about it.
Cheers
