Hmmm this is very strange...
can you try connecting a different telephone?
disconnect all telephones and leave only one...
if you have a wireless telephone try a simple telephone vise vesus
there are also filters that you put on the cable that leads to the telephone itself.. do you have those?
please post back with results of the above...
