Scrolling with pen button pressed?

Can one convince Vista to interpret a pen move with the mouse button
pressed (i.e. in my case the equivalent of a mouse move with the right
mouse button pressed) as a scroll command?

I once had a utility for Win98 back then that would allow me to scroll
in each application by simply moving the mouse with a pressed right
button. This was very convenient and intuitive, but alas that program
didn't work with XP any more. IMHO something like that would be
extremely handy for a tablet, where I find hitting the scroll bars to
scroll rather tedious. A few applications have that functionality
built-in but I would like to have that for ALL apps.

Does Vista (Business / tablet edition) support something like that
natively? Or does anyone know a utility that allows this?

Don't have an answer for your specific question, but, know that if your
tablet has a fingerprint reader, that can be used to scroll windows.

Hi Beverly,

yes, mine has indeed such a feature, but the scrolling using that is
rather shaky and extremely unprecise. Using the pen (at least, that's my
conviction) would be much quicker and better.

Pen Flicks can scroll vertically - I'm not sure if they can be configured to
scroll horizontally as by default that performs back and forward. Just
quickly swipe the pen up or down.

Agreed, but, if you are using the pen, why would pulling the scroll
button not be an easy option?

Yeah - I have tried these. They are OK for stuff that's vertically
organized into pages (like some Word or PDF document), but when it comes
to drawing or designing diagrams being able to quickly "grab the paper"
and moving it almost as quick as drawing a line is much quicker.
MindManager (by MindJet) e.g. supports that and that's simply terrific!

Hm, that sounds like an idea!

Does anyone by chance know: can one use that driver also for a
MotionComputing LE1700 tablet?
From hear-say its screen is also supposed to be a Wacom thingy (or
"Wacom-technology-based or whatever).
