File server migration from Server 2000 cluster to server 2003 clus
Novice ISA user 11/28/2008 5:16:06 PM
I need some advice on how to best migrate a server 2000 cluster file server
to a server 2003 cluster file server. I have already set up the file server
on the cluster I just need help copying the files over and maintaining the
original permissions.
I did not set up DFS and I dont know if I can use the File Server Migration
Tool.

I am migrating from one MS 2000 Cluster to one MS 2003 cluster.
Is Robo Copy the best way to go?
Can I use FSMT?
Thanks

Hello Novice,

I also prefer robocopy, easy to use when just copying data.

Best regards
