WSUS 3.1.6001.65 Sync's but won't download Zoidberg <theagentorange[ at ]gmail.com> 12/19/2008 10:13:11 AM This WSUS server has worked previously but at some point stopped downloading updates. We only tend to use it during the longer school holidays. It is running on W2K3 std SP2, WSUS is v3.1.6001.65 and as the subject says it will syncronise and it knows there are updates to download but still won't download them. I've made sure the updates are approved, restarted BITS and Automatic Updates services, even restarted the server. The server is fully patched using WU. The application log just says WSUS is working. Any help will be gratefully reveived. -Martin

Thank you! -Martin p.s. The patch I missed *did not* solve the problem, I had to use Winfried's advice and reboot the server. I don't know if the patch was part of the fix, but alone it didn't work.
