Hi Nicolas,
Thank you for your post.
When you say "identify a port for easy print", do you mean a TCP port or a printer port? Could you please describe your requirement in more detail?
The TCP port for Terminal Service is 3389 by default. The print information of printer redirection in terminal service, including Easy Print, are transferred in the RDP protocol data stream. It will also use the 3389 port by default. We cannot configure a separate port for Easy Print only. If you would like to change the port used by terminal service as a whole, you can refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
187623 How to change Terminal Server's listening port http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;187623
As for printer port, Terminal Service client ports (TSxxx) are automatically created when the client connects to the terminal server. The format of the Terminal Service client port is:
Port Description TS computername:PortX (where Port is the type of port and X is the port number)
Client port names for automatic printer queues are always named as PRNxxx where xxx is a numeric letter that increases for each printer. Note: Attaching to a printer port with TSxxx:<computername: PRNxxx> is strongly discouraged and is not a supported scenario.
