You can also press Alt+F4 to close the active window. Hope this helps, Shawn -- Brink *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.*

Regarding closing open folders: Example: When I click on a folder in my video page--it opens up all the videos contained therein. I want to close the folder so that I can open a differant folder on that same video page. With the previous versions of windows, there was an arrow pointing up that when you clicked on it it would close the open folder. -- Roe51

You can click on the left arrow to go back one folder, or you can click on the folder you want to go to in the address bar for this. This tutorial can help show you more about this and other options. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/82251-windows-explorer-address-bar.html Hope this helps, Shawn -- Brink *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.*

So... not finding what you're familiar with, you just sat there
slack-jawed, staring at your screen without trying
anything, RIGHT?
