A friend offered me his Creative Portable Media Center a few years ago after
his battery "puffed up" and was unusable. I ordered a new battery from
Creative, and got a few years use out of it. Now, however, my battery has
also puffed up, and no longer fits in the battery compartment. As near as I
can tell from Creative's web site, they don't support this product (and
presumably don't sell batteries). I plan on checking Batteries Plus but
other than that, I've once again got a piece of useless technology.
If anyone wants it, I can let it go cheap. It still works fine on AC...
