Hey Guys,
Does anyone knows how to change MIME's type in Windows Vista? I knew how to do it with XP, but to be honest, I'm kinda lost with Vista.
Thanks for your help, guys,
And Merry Xmas to you all.

You didn't mention what client you're using. Given that, best guess is to accept the default settings.

Hi,
I am using Windows Vista, on a Toshiba Machine. What do you mean by client?
Thanks, anyway

Email client? Newsgroup client?
WHAT is it that you are trying to do and with what PROGRAM?

I am trying to associate files with an unknown extension, to an extension known, and recognised by Vista.
For exemple I have a file named: an_incredible_thing.wow I'd like Vista to associate .wow files to text files, and open them with Notepad, for exemple.
Does that makes sens?

Yeah, except for the fact that I don't even know what a .wow file is.
You might right-click the file, choose OPEN WITH, and then when choosing, make sure the box to make your choice the default is ticked.
If it can't be opened with Notepad or another text editor, then you need to go to Plan B - which I don't know anything about.
