Some computers are not being updated via WSUS, others not reported yet and others are reporting they have been updated within the last couple of weeks. I even deleted the computers from WSUS and added them back and still have the same problem. How can I get all of my computers to be updated?

Find out why they're not communicating with the WSUS Server. :-)
The *best* way to do this is to review the %windir%\WindowsUpdate.log for error entries indicating the failure(s).

Aha!.... a scenario we see quite often. :-)
The most likely cause is that you've recently upgraded to the "SP1" of WSUS 3.0, which has a nasty habit of not 'reinstalling' the /selfupdate virtual directory.
1. Create a virtual directory in the Default Web Site named 'selfupdate'.
2. Set its pathname to C:\Program Files\Update Services\Selfupdate
3. Enable Anonymous Access via IIS Manager for the selfupdate virtual directory.

I added the virtual directory. Is there anything I need to do in order to have the update reports from the clients?

No. That should self-correct within 22 hours, once each client has executed it's next regularly scheduled detection and is able to successfully query the contents of the /selfupdate virtual directory.

This would indicate you have additional issues at work.
Please run the Client Diagnostic Tool on one of these systems that have not reported, and post the results for further analysis.

The 0x80190194 is an HTTP '404' error, caused, most likely, because the 'selfupdate' virtual directory is missing.
You stated that you added the virtual directory back; did you also set the pathname and enable anonymous access permissions as indicated in my original post.
***** 1. Create a virtual directory in the Default Web Site named 'selfupdate'. 2. Set its pathname to C:\Program Files\Update Services\Selfupdate 3. Enable Anonymous Access via IIS Manager for the selfupdate virtual directory. *****
Also, does that path actually have content?
Please browse to http://afspc1srv/selfupdate/iuident.cab, you should get a File Open/Save dialog box for the iuident.cab file.
The CDT specifically checks for the presence of the wuaucomp.cab file in the platform-specific tree, so if you're running the CDT from a Windows XP system, and because the CDT is still only a WSUS-2 aware tool, it will be looking for http://afspc1srv/selfupdate/AU/x86/XP/en/wuaucomp.cab.
If you're running the CDT from the WSUS Server, it will be looking for http://afspc1srv/selfupdate/AU/x86/en/wuaucomp.cab

[Quoted Text] Okay... well.. shucks.. my next answer would be to run the selfupdate.msi installer package, which used to be held in ~\Program Files\Update Services\Setup...
but it appears that package is missing (not created?) from the WSUS3SP1 installer package (might have something to do with why the virtual directory is never created!)
I'm checking with the WSUS team now.

Yes... my apologies Anna.
I got a reply back the next day, and then got sidetracked when I meant to post back here, and didn't do that.
The selfupdate.msi was removed from the package in the WSUS30SP1, and made a core package of the installer.
The recommendation from the Microsoft WSUS Product Group is to uninstall WSUS (keeping the database, content, and logs), and then reinstall WSUS30SP1. This should result in the recreation of the C:\Program Files\Update Services\selfupdate folder and files, and then from there you'll still probably need to recreate the 'selfupdate' virtual directory.

After confirming that the 'selfupdate' is fully functional, then the next step is back to Diagnostics 101....
run the Client Diagnostic Tool and verify client connectivity to the server.
Also, recognize that it can take up to 22 hours after restoring functionality to the server before all of the clients will complete checkins.
