Yes.

Doesn't apply to Business Edition. It's various packages of add-ons for Ultimate Edition.

In general, the "Dynamic Installer" categories allow you to maintain updates to that the OS can apply the updates at OS =installation=, rather than as a post-installation task.
All new generation products have this ability to obtain the latest updates at installation time, rather than as a post-installation task. By default these updates are obtained across the Internet from microsoft.com; ostensiblyr, there is a provision for the updates to be obtained from your local WSUS Server (and installed based on WSUS configured approvals, rather than installing all available updates), but there appears to be a dearth of documentation on how to actually use these categories in a WSUS deployment.
Given that some sort of policy would need to be applied to tell the Vista system to use the WSUS Server, I'm not sure how a WSUS Server could be identified during OS installation. I've sent a note up to the WSUS team to see if I can get a pointer on where some "wherefores and how to use" information might have been posted.

I presume you're likely to install Office on this machine. Office 2003? or did it come with Office 2007 pre-installed?
Also, since Vista comes with Windows Defender installed, you'll want to make sure you're downloading Defender updates and signature files.
