Sorry to dig up such an old post! However, I am receiving the same exact
error and I /do/ have a zone defined for the domain that I renamed.
C:\rendom>rendom /end
Failed to delete rename script on the DN:
CN=Partitions,CN=Configuration,DC=cent
ralholidays,DC=com on host WTGDC01.centralholidays.com.
00002077: SvcErr: DSID-030F0B0E, problem 5003 (WILL_NOT_PERFORM), data 0
: Cannot complete this function. :1003
A centralholidays.com zone exists. How can I verify I configured it correctly?
