Hi,
School scenario.....
Currently our students have to log on to our domain to access file- and
print services. However with all these ASUS eee and the like with only
XP Home I have started to consider skipping the domain logon requirement.
However I want to monitor the windowsupdate (and antivirus) status for
all connected computers. How do I do that without having a domain's
logon script and group policies...?
Preferably the student computers should first check our WSUS server for
updates and if not found within a reasonable amount of time, they should
check directly with microsoft.com.
Any suggestions or comments on how to achieve this?
