XP x64 Recovery Console "Marty Felker" <martyfelker[ at ]swva.net> 6/1/2007 11:52:29 PM I had bought the OEM version of XP x64 and installed it some time ago. The install disk got badly scratched (my fault but bad packaging) and will no longer boot so I can't get to the recovery console from the CD. I have now bought the non-OEM version of XP x64 and will install that soon. It apparently has SP2 slipstreamed. Will I be able to install the recovery console to the HD? It would be much easier.

One note is that the recovery console has to match the version (SP1 or SP2) that you're running.
