Well, I am one of those that installs patches "willy-nilly" (and I like to live on the edge), so I installed this one. It installed fine and I don't notice any difference in my computer (good or bad). When I read the article link in this thread, I found my processor on the list. Also, this is a legitimate Microsoft patch. Since it is listed with other updates, I figure I can always uninstall it.
