From what I gather, it is possible to run 64-bit Win XP/Vista on certain types of CPUs which support EM64T instruction set. Is this right? Would there be any performance degradation in doing this? Performance is excellent. This is the native mode for 64bit Windows so why would there be any degradation in performance? If you mean is there degradation in running 32bit Windows on such a cpu, there is not.
